We dived from June to September. Visibility was good until July, then declined sharply. Cratena appeared again in large numbers between July and August, though overall nudibranch numbers and diversity remained low. Mussels and crustaceans were also rarely seen, but overall there were many more photographic opportunities than last year.

June

Good visibility; not many nudibranchs, but plenty of crustaceans and blennies.

July

More crustaceans and blennies, and then the Cratena appeared.

August

The Trave and its Dentali offered a few more nudibranchs. There were plenty of fish around the cliffs, but the poor visibility didn’t allow me to photograph them well.

September

The water was becoming increasingly murky and marine life seemed to be declining. However, in our area, careful observation always revealed something interesting!
